The real parental control feature is the PIN system which Netflix calls hard controls If you set a PIN on your account you can set Netflix to require it before playing mature content in any profile.
You access Netflixs parental control PIN system from account settings. Go to the main menu dropdown by selecting the downward arrow on the top-right of the screen. Tap Profile Lock and enter your Netflix account password.
Enter your Netflix password.
After entering your Netflix account password then youll be asked to choose four numbersthats your PIN. From a web browser go to your Account page. Netflix offers parental controls on two levels on an account level that will affect all members and profiles using the account as well as on an individual profile level affecting only a specified user. Next create your 4-digit PIN and select Save.
